Satelite Hispasat 1C/1D/1E en 30.0° Oeste
El sistema de comunicaciones por satélite HISPASAT incluye satélites colocados en tres posiciones orbitales: una posición transatlántica, 30º Oeste, en la que se ubican los satélites, Hispasat 1C, 1D, Hispasat 1E.
HISPASAT se ha consolidado así como el sistema de satélites con mejor cobertura en España y Portugal y el operador de referencia en Iberoamérica, con una cobertura excepcional sobre el continente americano. Además, la capacidad transatlántica de sus satélites ofrece una cobertura simultánea en todos los países del continente americano.
El satélite Hispasat 1C se ubica en la posición orbital 30º Oeste. Tiene 24 transpondedores con la capacidad de operar de manera flexible tanto en enlaces ascendentes y descendentes en Europa y en América.
